First Birchbox - 4 Weeks Later
So I got my first Birchbox 4 weeks ago - the original post is here. I’ve been using the products regularly and here’s my take.
Richer/Poorer socks - Rating: 3/5. These socks are light and the color is unique, but the material isn’t the softest. I don’t avoid wearing them but they’re never the first socks worn out of a load of laundry.
Kiehl’s Ultimate Man Body Scrub - Rating: 4/5. I saw definite results from this stuff, especially on the balls of my feet. I used the soap on my right foot, elbow, knee, and hand and maintained my regular cleaning regimen on the left. I should really want to buy a whole bar of this stuff, but for some reason I don’t. I guess having smooth feet isn’t my priority.
BillyKirk LiquidSand Face Cleaner - Rating: 4/5. My face definitely felt better after using this stuff and I’m planning to add something like this to my regular routine. Need to try a few more comparable products first, though.
Zirh Shave Gel - Rating 5/5. Great product. This gel doesn’t foam like most shave gels/soaps, which makes it really easy to use because you don’t get foam all over the sink and the water handles and your razor. And while that’s nice, the Zirh gel delivers the goods - smooth shaves, no razor burn, no ingrown hairs. I’m backing this stuff with my wallet and have ordered a full-size bottle for $15.
